As someone who has spoken one on one with director Mark Cheng, I can speak honestly about his enthusiasm and excitement for the G.I. Joe property and for this project specifically. Funding this fan film purely with his own blood, sweat, and tears, he crafted a 25 minute film that bordered on professional in the effects department and the presentation was excellent.
Well, apparently Mr. Cheng wasn’t satisfied to just release the film online, he also has now released a special director’s commentary as well as some deleted scenes which didn’t make the final cut.
