G.I. Joe HQ Exclusive Black HUMVEE

Available only through GIJOE HQ

Well, with the package of the two helicopters, I also got another treat. The G.I. Joe HQ exclusive Black SWAT Humvee! This vehicle ROCKS.

Like the Hasbro Jungle Strike, it's modelled after the official US Military Humvee and it actually ends up looking very, very similar to Hasbro's offering. The major differences are some inside tooling (it's a lot less detailed on the PTE vehicle) and the gun emplacement on top. Besides that, this black Hummer is pretty close to the G.I. Joe version, but in black.

Designed and sold as a "SWAT" Humvee, the black jeep keeps the military look of the famous military vehicle, but in a stark black paint scheme, it looks very, very nice. The sloped hood and familiar shape of the vehicle's front are all translated to near-perfection. It has an opening rear hatch, opening doors and even an lid that closes on the top of the gunmount.

Speaking of the gunmount, the weapon mounted here on this jeep is heads and shoulders above the one we got with the Jungle Strike. A nice slim weapon, it has two killer handles on the back of the gun for proper targeting and tracking. This Jeep is GREAT.

As with the helicopters, it also comes with a wealth of accessories...being a SWAT Humvee, it comes with two urban-geared SWAT soldiers, dressed all in black, one with a gasmask. They retain the poseability of the PTE figures (which is definitely a good thing) and have a ton of cool accessories. They come with the standard submachine guns that I've seen before, but also come with a battering ram and shield which look great. Lastly, a killer new sniper rifle is packaged in there, too, which is another awesome bonus. All in all, these figures and vehicles are a great addition to what is already a neat vehicle.

Whether or not you want a ride for Destro and his Iron Grenadiers, or you just need something for the DEF to use to hunt down the Headhunters, this black Humvee fits the bill to near-perfection. With a nice solid construction, authentic styling and a great, dark, realistic color, you really cannot go wrong with this undercover jeep. Like the two helicopters as well, it's a G.I. Joe HQ exclusive...get it while it's hot!
