Robert Atkins showing off more G.I. Joe love on his blog

I had to work out a special… “deal” with Robert, but now that the deal is taken care of, I am allowing his name to be mentioned on GeneralsJoes again.  😀

Over on his awesome blog page, the IDW G.I. Joe cover artist has showcased some more G.I. Joe art, specifically a beautiful Scarlett piece drawn by him and colored by Simon Gough, and also a nice little snippet of a Snow Job piece which is apparently part of a much bigger project.

Interesting…

A little insight to some future Sideshow Collectible G.I. Joe offerings?

Sideshow Collectibles has been giving us their “Ask Sideshow” Q & A’s for a while now, but it appears they’ve moved their operations to Facebook.  In a post put up on Saturday, Sideshow reflects on an interesting G.I. Joe related question and an equally interesting answer:‎

“Question: When can we expect to see Great Joes like Snow Job, Mutt w/Junkyard,and Gung-Ho?

Answer: Of the Joes that we would like to tackle next, you’ve named two of our favorite four. Shipwreck is missing from your list, but who has the other slot? Hmmm…

So it certainly sounds like Shipwreck is on deck, and likely one other of the three above figures listed.  Any thoughts or opinions?  Check out the Sideshow Collectibles Facebook page and hit ’em up with a “Like” to stay up to date on all Sideshow news and info.

Who are the Shadow-Vipers? Find out March 25th on G.I. Joe: Renegades!

So, G.I. Joe: Renegades returns with new episodes next Friday, March 11th, but the episode shuffle has pushed “Whiteout” back to March 25th.  To this point we hadn’t heard any episode details, but now TVGuide.com sheds some light on the subject:

“The prototype Shadow-Vipers and Storm Shadow follow the Joes to Canada, where they are hiding out with Snow Job.”

So Shadow-Vipers, Snow Job, and the return of Storm Shadow?  Whiteout was initially an episode I wasn’t all that excited to check out, but suffice it to say, that’s changed now!  Thanks to The Terror Drome for the information.

GeneralsJoes Reviews Pursuit of Cobra Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, and Snow Job

Slowly but surely I’m making my way through the first wave of G.I. Joe: Pursuit of Cobra figures.
Already I’ve got Alley-Viper, Duke, and Beachhead posted, and now I’ve added Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Snow Job.  I believe that just leaves Cobra Commander and Firefly, and with my HasbroToyShop order shipping this past weekend, I should be able to get those posted as well.
Just because I’m anal retentive, too, I may move the Beachhead review to pre-production and do my own production level review as well.  Hawkwinter did a fantastic job, but I love Beachhead so much I’m itching to get a review in there as well.
Anyway, check out the Pursuit of Cobra Review Page to check out all of the PoC reviews posted to date!

Another ten minute video figure review – Pursuit of Cobra galore!

Frequent GeneralsJoes contributor (a feat for which I am endlessly grateful) cmderinchief has posted yet another video review!  Not content to cover just one item, though, he does a quick review of the TRU Exclusive Spirit, Quick Kick, the Pursuit of Cobra Duke & Snow Job, and also manages to say some words about the Canadian JoeCon convention sets!
Wow.  Check out all the Gary Goodness right below.
