Sideshow Collectibles Desert Weapons Cache w/ Sandstorm Reviewed!

GeneralsJoes guest reviewer Mysterious Stranger is at it again!  Along with the 12″ Sideshow Collectibles figures, he is also covering the 12″ environments.  Already reviewing the Cobra Throne, he now turns to the Desert Weapons Cache, which comes with Dusty’s infamous coyote, Sandstorm.

Check out the review right here, and as always a huge thanks to Chris for helping me with these!  Good stuff.

Rise of Cobra "Sand Serpent" Night Raven repaint dead? Not so fast, my friend…

Wow.  The hits just keep on coming for Ross stores…  on the heels of the surprising find of the believed to be canceled Wave 3 Target Exclusives, Phil, a contributor for YoJoe.com has stumbled upon something even more shocking.
The Night Raven repaint revealed at SDCC in 2009, labeled as the “Sand Serpent”!  Like the Target Exclusives, Hasbro reported this item as being canceled, but again like the Target Exclusives, Ross begs to differ.
Purchased for an astounding $15.99, here’s yet another thing to send Joefans scrambling…either for their nearest Ross store, or for their nearest buddy who might live NEAR a Ross Store.  Kudos to Phil for finding this!

GeneralsJoes Reviews Target… errr… Ross Exclusive Vehicle Packs

Well, not all of them today, but I at least got two of them done.  The other two should be up tomorrow or the day after.

Formerly cancelled Target exclusives on sale at ROSS!!

Woah!
Granted, I’m one of the lucky ones who grabbed the full set of four of these from eBay last week, but this is just crazy.  Just as the Rise of Cobra was morphing into the Pursuit of Cobra, a number of items were solicited, and some items were destined for the dustbin of history, including the final wave of Target Exclusives.  Initially this wave was slated to come with the Trubble Bubble w/ Elite-Viper, Twin Battle Gun w/ Range-Viper, Air Assault Glider w/ Capt. Ace, and the RAM w/ Sandstorm.
These items have sold for upwards near $300 on the secondary market, and now you can get them for six bones a pop at your local Ross stores.
At least, I’m assuming some folks have these locally.  Myself?  The nearest Ross is 350+ miles away.
If anyone gets their hands on a few Twin Battle Gun w/ Range-Vipers, feel free to let me know.  I’d love to have a little squad of these babies, but I’ve got no Ross stores locally.  I will be getting my eBay one this week, and at least this makes my decision to open them much easier.  Reviews will be coming!
Check out some mirrored images below, and a huge thanks to japanX80 of HissTank.com for the info.

GeneralsJoes Reviews PoC Wave 2 Jungle-Viper and Zartan!

Well, the two reviews on Friday left a somewhat bad taste in my mouth, so I gotta wash that out with two of the more stellar figures in the second wave of Pursuit of Cobra.  With these two reviews, the entire 2010 run of Pursuit of Cobra figures has been reviewed, and I’ve only got a pair of Alpha vehicles left to cover.
Actually, now that I think about it, I still have the Wolfhound I need to get posted, too, but I haven’t been able to drive myself to get that one done yet.  We’ll see.
Anyway, to check out the reviews of these two figures, you can hit up the Pursuit of Cobra Review Page or just check out the links below to go direct.
