Amazing images of upcoming Prime One G.I. Joe statues from Tokyo Winter Wonder

There hasn’t been much in the way of G.I. Joe news this weekend at Toy Fair, but statue company Prime 1 has stepped up to the plate in a HUGE way over at the Tokyo Winter Wonder Festival previewing some fantastic looking G.I. Joe statues including Serpentor and Destro!

These are not inexpensive endeavors, but they look spectacular.  Big thanks to Skinny on Twitter for the heads up, and Statue Review on Instagram for some of these images.

They’ve previous revealed both a Snake Eyes and a Storm Shadow statue, so things are looking pretty great for G.I. Joe statuary fans and collectors!

GeneralsJoes Reviews Sideshow Collectibles 12″ Destro

Unlike many other G.I. Joe fans out there, I was drawn to this 12″ Destro the first minute I saw it.  The great modern touches and terrific vintage throwbacks seemed to create the perfect combination for this Sideshow update.  Granted, it was nowhere near 100% vintage accurate, but I’m one of those folks who doesn’t need that sort of stuff to enjoy a figure.

All in all, as much as I was looking forward to the figure, the end result matched every single expectation I had.

Check out the Sideshow Collectibles Review section, or click the link below to read the review, and if you like what you see, the figure is still in stock at SideshowToy.com!

First look at 50th Anniversary Destro at YoJoe.com!

A big thanks to enthusiastic G.I. Joe fan Gary “Gyre Viper” Goggles who was able to get his hands on some early samples of the G.I. Joe: 50th Anniversary product and was kind enough to send it along! I’ll be working on reviews throughout the weekend to be posted next week, but until then, I’ve posted a little sneak peek at the 50th Anniversary Destro on YoJoe.com!

Feel free to ask questions and I’ll try to answer them as best I can as I work towards getting reviews ready to be posted.

Enjoy!

G.I. Joe: Battleground Peril in The Pit Event is on now!

The latest PVP event ended a few days ago, so now it’s time for the next big surge!  Cobra has discovered the location of The Pit, and it’s up to a few of the Original 13 Joes to stop them.

Flash, Grunt, and Zap team up to try and battle back Destro and Crimson Guard Commander.

As always the artwork on these new cards are fantastic, not just in execution, but in concept.  I’m in love with the Crimson Guard Commander, the fact that they used the GIJCC Iron Grenadier Destro, and that the Epic version of Flash is his Rise of Cobra version?  Solid GOLD.

Check out some screen shots below.
