Cmderinchief has been pretty busy lately, and he comes through again, this time with pictures of a mysterious upcoming Snow Job repaint as well as the Target Exclusive COBRA Eel that’s slated to come with a repaint of the Spy Troops Wave Crusher. He’s posted the original threads on JBL here and here.
The Snow Job is a really nice homage to the ’97 version, I think, and at least some sort of variation of the figure is slated to come with the upcoming Rockslide. Check out the galleries below.

With much thanks to HissCommander from The Terror Drome, some images have been uncovered of the upcoming G.I. Joe Pit Commando and movie-themed COBRA Eel.
The Pit Commando appears to come in at least two packaging variations, showcasing the different forms the soldier can take, and the sheer amount of gear he comes with is a customizing dream come true. Check out the images of the Pit Commando below:

The COBRA Eel pictures so far have been grainy and undetailed, so these updated images are very nice to see. I gotta say, while I’m not a huge fan of the styling of the movie Vipers and Neo-Vipers, I do really love how they’re taking a base template and tweaking it to make all of these different troop variations. Even though I’m not loving the look, it’s a great concept, and this Eel has enough minor changes to really stand out. He also has some color tweaks; enough to make him at least a bit of an homage to the original. Check out those images below:

Notpicard over at the Coil Club has posted some pictures of carded items from the upcoming Rise of COBRA action figure line. Included in the pictures is a carded “Pit Commando”, “COBRA Eel” (which looks like the previously hypothosized Elite Viper), and Agent Helix. The Black Sheep Toy Store strikes again, this time with a nice batch of somewhat vintage-themed figures that look to be done up in movie style paint schemes. Very interesting looking figures, for sure. Click the following links to check out the auctions, and then peruse all of the images mirrored below.
There are some part swaps and paint alterations, but some interesting stuff to see, for sure. I love the Grand Slam with the different lower legs, and the AVAC with the Resolute Trooper arms. Some neat stuff mixed up here…
