GeneralsJoes Reviews Rise of Cobra TRU Doc and Shipwreck

It seems only appropriate as August 1st looms tomorrow, and I’ve officially lived out my promise for one review per day until the “official” Pursuit of Cobra launch, that I do a review of two figures that were walking the line between Cobra “Rising” and the  Joes “Pursuing”.
While the fifth wave of single pack figures for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra officially kicked off the whole “pursuit” theme, both Doc and Shipwreck from the Toys “R” Us Headquarters for Heroes subline carried that torch as well.  Both sporting “Arctic Assault” tags on their packaging, and both quite obviously designed to chase Destro through the snow and ice.
So as these figures bridged that gap between The Rise of Cobra and the Pursuit of Cobra, I figure it’s apt that I use them to bridge the gap here as well.
Gap?  Did I say gap?  Yeah, right.  I’ve currently got about 125 images taken for upcoming Pursuit of Cobra product already, and while I certainly cannot promise the one review per day quota will continue to be met past August 1st, you have no worries, reviews will still be coming fast and furious.  I’ve got both new Mechs in the wings as well as the two Wave 1 Alpha vehicles, and I still hope to finish off the Wave 1 Single Packs before too long.
The things I do for you people.
Anyway.  Hit up the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra Review Page or just check out the Doc and Shipwreck reviews directly.  Enjoy.

GeneralsJoes Reviews Rise of Cobra TRU Firefly

Okay, now that the Resolute figures are done, I’m moving back into “flashback” phase and trying to catch up, just a little bit.  I’m just sneaking this one in under the wire, as we’re approaching midnight here on the East Coast.
The TRU exclusive “Headquarters for Heroes” Firefly figure was the highlight figure of the first onslaught of Rise of Cobra figures, yet for some bizarre reason, I never reviewed it.  Well that changes right now.
Feel free to hit up my past Rise of Cobra reviews as well, if you’re bored on a Saturday night…

G.I. Joe: Resolute Reviews – Complete!

As promised, I have wrapped up the reviews for the G.I. Joe: Resolute boxed sets, which can be found linked on the Resolute Review page!  Today I added G.I. Joe’s first Army Ranger Stalker as well as Zartan, the Cobra Master of Disguise!
Along with these last two figures, I also posted full review recaps of the G.I. Joe Boxed Set and the Cobra Boxed Set.  Enjoy!  This has been a whirlwind week of getting these reviews done, but it was fun…

GeneralsJoes Reviews G.I. Joe: Resolute Flint and Destro!

The week is drawing to a close, and I’m still rolling along with the G.I. Joe: Resolute reviews!  Today I tackle two of the most popular characters in these 7-packs, Flint and Destro.  You can also, of course, hit up the G.I. Joe: Resolute Review Page to get caught up on all of the Resolute reviews I’ve done so far!
Tomorrow we conclude with reviews of Stalker, Zartan, and a special “recap review” of both box sets!

GeneralsJoes G.I. Joe: Resolute Reviews – BONUS!

Okay, I have a confession to make.  I love these Resolute toys.  I really, really, REALLY love these Resolute toys.  I know everyone labels me a Hasbro fanboy anyway, so that probably comes as no surprise to anyone, but my love for these Resolute toys goes beyond my normal love for the normal cool toys.
While I am fired up for the Pursuit of Cobra items and I love what I’m seeing there, too, for some reason the look and feel of G.I. Joe: Resolute just has me on cloud nine.  It’s a little bitter sweet, because I’m not sure we’ll ever see anything else from this awesome Resolute universe, but if this is it, it’s a great last stand.
Granted, there were aspects of the Resolute story that certainly were not perfect, but the big drawing point were the designs, and seeing those designs translated into 3 3/4″ plastic form is absolutely awesome.  So, of course, since I’m so ramped up, I couldn’t just stop at two reviews posted today…  here are FOUR more.  These are all linked at the G.I. Joe: Resolute Reviews Page, or you can check them out individually below:

So that’s a total of eight of the fourteen figures…  I might even get the last six posted tomorrow.  But I don’t want to shortchange my “Review-A-Rama” too much!
Anyway, check ’em out above.
