Forty seems like a big number, until you realize just what kind of roller coaster G.I. Joe fans have been on over the past nine months with the impending release of the film, and then the sudden rescheduling. Over on Twitter, GeneralsJoes pal Twitziller has begun a massive “40 reasons G.I. Joe: Retaliation will be great” campaign and he has graciously allowed me to mirror those thoughts on GeneralsJoes as well.
With the film making it’s big debut on March 29th, I’m looking for as many reasons as possible to talk about it, and I think he’s got some great thoughts.

With the new G.I. Joe #1 hitting this coming Wednesday, it’s hard to already think ahead to issue #4, but that’s what we’re doing with IDW’s May Solicitations. Those solicits include the fourth issue of the main G.I. Joe as well as the latest issues of Cobra Files and G.I. Joe: Special Missions. We get to see what Larry Hama is up to over on the Real American Hero book as well.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is the gift that keeps on giving. Even if you didn’t like the game a whole lot, it has offered a wealth of great concept art to enjoy. Friend of the site notpicard has come across another slate of concept art from Darran Hurlbut, which features some characters and some environments seen in the game.
