Who cares about The Avengers?!?  G.I. Joe: Renegades the Complete First Season is hitting store shelves from Shout! Factory TODAY.

All 26 episodes of this landmark G.I. Joe animated series complete and in high definition…and it looks glorious.  With big thanks from Shout! Factory for providing a review sample, so I had a chance to dissect this thing before release, and now I’ve posted my review right here.

Check it out in my Miscellaneous section, or the direct link below.  And even better, if you want to buy it, consider using my Amazon link and help support the site!  Enjoy.

Transforming Collections Kickstarter enters final week

I don’t talk much about Transformers here, but when a buddy of mine fires up a Kickstarter to focus on some terrific third party Transformers product, I feel like I should let some folks know.

Transforming Collections is a great book focusing on third party items, something that Hasbro isn’t wild about, but many fans are extremely interested in.   Philip Reed runs Battlegrip.com which does some great toy reviews and reports on toy news, and he has tons of real world experience, so I’m expecting to see a great book.

Transforming Collections has reached its Kickstarter goal, but Phil is trying to hit a new stretch goal allowing the book to be produced in hardcover.  There is still a ways to go, but Phil’s done great stuff for the toy world, so I figured I would repay some of his hard work with a little publicity for his Transforming Collections book.  You can also follow Philip on Twitter as well.

GeneralsJoes reviews upcoming G.I. Joe: Retaliation “Tactical Ninja” Agent Mouse!

G.I. Joe fans seemed to really latch onto the first wave of G.I. Joe: Retaliation 3 Packs which offered many familiar characters but with some great additional accessories that really added some value to the figures.  From the looks of it, Wave two is going to be even better, giving us brand new characters with some awesome previously unreleased accessories.

One of my favorite looking figures from the early pictures we’ve seen was Agent Mouse.

I managed to get my hands on the figure, and have reviewed it in my G.I. Joe: Retaliation section, or you can check out the direct link below.
